Well, Year 3 for goats at the fair was another success.  There were 29 goats  there in all.  Just off hand, I'd
say 20 of those had been bought from our farm.  Most of the Class winners were Rocking E Ranch goats!
We are happy to say that Jacob's wether placed second in his class to the Grand Champion and was then
chosen as Reserve Grand Champion.  This is a solid red wether out of our buck Goliaith that we recently sold
He was born Valentine's day and being all red we named him Val. He weighed 78 lbs at weigh-in on
Wednesday.
Grand Champion Goat brought $1300 and Reserve $1000.  The rest of the goats brought around $450.
All the children worked very hard with their kids and we are so proud of each and every Bracken County
Goat Club member.
This year Hannah also showed a Feeder Calf which Placed First in her class! And brought $650 at the sale.
